ABOUT US
A think tank for advancing metascience studies and progress.
Founded by a team of graduate students at the University of Cambridge, the Better Science Project is a UK-based think tank focusing on alternative models for funding, structuring, and sharing scientific research. We support the creation of tools, schemes, and policies that can unlock diversified models for how research is done in the UK.
In service of this goal, we conduct metascience research to identify the best ways to propel innovation, and translate these insights into concrete policy recommendations. In addition, we initiate and support real-world metascience projects to help build an ecosystem of scientific institutions for the 21st century.
